Rejected UPCAT Essay Questions

I remember taking UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admission Test) 3 years ago. As I go to the testing center, I was armed with prayers, pencil, test permit, and snacks not knowing what to expect, not even wanting to expect anything because I'm afraid I might disappoint myself. Back then we were required to  answer English, Math, Science and Reading Comprehension. But today, I was surprised knowing that UPCAT comes with an essay part. You heard it right, ESSAY Questions. Maybe they are curious with what's inside the mind of the future Iskolar ng Bayan. As I was browsing topics on Twitter this morning, I came across #RejectedUPCATEssayQuestions being one of the top trending topics. This only prove how creative Filipinos can be as they created this hilarious, funny, and witty questions. This Qs really made my day! 

Here are some of my favorites:

• Kung si Corazon ang unang aswang, pang ilan ka? Illustrate the family tree.
•  Kung nag evolve ang tao from ape to man. At what point ka nagpaiwan?
•  If men are from Mars and women are from Venus, bakit sila naggpunta sa earth?
• Gaano ka tuwid ang One Direction compared sa ‘Tuwid na Daan’ ni PNoy?
• Kailan Grumaduate ang Graduated Cylinder? Ibuod ang kanyang academic life.
• Ano ang size ng sapatos ni Cinderella? Bakit wala siyang kaparehas ng size? Explain briefly.
• Bakit mahirap ang maging pogi at maganda? Huwag mong i-explain, pangit ka.
•  Kung si Squirtle ay isang basic water pokemon. Si Myrtle ba ang evolution neto? Ipakita ang evolution tree.
•  Ilang beses tinadjakan ni Tulfo si Claudine? Compute the range using quadratic formula.
• Kung ikaw si Batman, sinong bahala sa’yo?
•  Kung waterproof ang mga college students, ba’t kayo magsususpend kung kelan free day namin?! IPALIWANAG!!!!!
• Pareho ba ng direction ang One Direction at ang tuwid na daan ni Noynoy? 
• Kung banned ang PLASTIC, bakit hindi ka pa nagtatago? 
• Using your Monggol #2 pencil, illustrate the 50 shades of gray. No erasures please. 
• Sinong kumagat sa apple logo ng Mac? Iexplain bakit hindi niya inubos. 
• Pagmasdan ang mga litrato ni Belo. Bakit lagi siyang nakanganga? 
• Masasabi mo bang fair ang Ms. Universe kung lahat ng contestants at judges ay galing sa Earth? 
• Sino ang magulang ni Dora at anong oras ang curfew niya?
